- Passport of decedent
- Embalmer's affidavit
- Letter of non-contagious disease
- Funeral home letter stating: 1) only the remains are inside the casket; 2) flight itinerary; 3) consignee's name, address, and telephone number; 4) cemetery name and location
- All of the above documents -- with the exception of the burial permit -- must be sent to the consulate in Washington
- Family should establish personal contact with the Embassy of Cameroon
